Special Exception Use
Procedures for Review of Special Exception Use Applications.

1. The Township or designated agent shall submit, within 15 days, filing of an application for a special exception use, if it is compliance with the requirements of this Part, the following copies to the Township Planning Commission and Zoning Hearing Board:
A. Twelve copies of the plans to the Township Planning Commission, for their review and recommendation to the Zoning Hearing Board within 30 days, under § 27-2605.1J of this chapter.

B. Four copies of the plans shall be submitted to the Township Zoning Hearing Board. A public hearing shall be held within 60 days of the filing of the application for a special exception and the Board will render a decision within 45 days under § 27-2604.5E of this chapter.
